Key issuance and storage is a matter of trust, so it is important to secure a signature and storage agreement with the employee who receives a key.
The key should only be handed over against receipt with the employee’s signature.
The key marking must be anonymous and not significantly different from ordinary private keys.
In our experience, the key is best kept together with the employee’s private keys, always at hand. Should the key be found or taken by a stranger, the key, together with car and house keys, will be difficult to identify.
The master key and extra keys should always be kept in a safe.

Replacing older, less secure keys
Combi plus provides optimal locking security. Combi plus cylinders are patented, and the keys are legally protected and patented against “pirate copies” for the entire duration of the patent. (2014).
Series 600 provides the second highest locking security and is approved by insurance companies. When using series 600, non-original keys may occur.
ReplacementYou can choose to build your system on a Combi Plus system and then continue to operate in system 600 with Combi Plus keys, thereby protecting yourself against copying keys. A cheaper solution.
The cylinders can be coded at no additional cost to suit your area division, so there is a master key (A) that can be used for all boxes, then sub-master keys (A1, A2, A3) and finally sub-keys (B, C, D, etc.) for the different areas. This division prevents all cylinders from having to be replaced if a key is lost or stolen.
Combi plus and series 600 fit in all our key boxes. In the event of a legal requirement to only use Skafor approved boxes, the cylinders can be immediately moved to our Skafor approved key boxes.
